Needle felted custom order pet dog- Pepper by Throughawolfseyes Needle felted custom order pet dog- Pepper by Throughawolfseyes
This is another custom order someone had me do of her dog. She was even so kind enough to take a picture of the two of them together! Super cute!

This dog is made using Needle Felting; a process using wool fibers and a barbed felting needle. The needle is poked into the wool repeatedly until the fibers matt together into a solid, dense wool object. The hair freshly washed cameo wool. I didn't cart (brush) the wool so it would keep its curl just like the dog's hair. This one is one of my favorites.

If you would like to request a custom felted form of one of your pets or characters, you can either send me a note or see what i have up in shop at : [link]

Disclaimer: picture is not mine, nor is the dog, but the sculpture is my creation. Permission was given by the owner to use her picture.

I thought both of them are real O_O a dog and a puppy. The curly fur parts are lovely

It's awesome! I was thinking that perhaps you could use the real hair of the dog (from a trim-salon of course (after wash)) That would be a unique thing :)

Yeah I've thought about doing that too. There was one lady who made knitted scarves/purses out of the pet's fur at the old vet office I worked at.It might be a bit of a logistic/time issue with out of state customers as they would need to send the fur to me but I'm sure there are people who would really like that :)
